Botox

BOTOX® Cosmetic injections are one of the most frequent procedures performed at the clinic.
Botox Cosmetic injections are a highly diluted derivative of Botulinum Toxin Type A, which relaxes the muscles that cause wrinkling by blocking the release of acetylcholine, the chemical that causes muscles to contract. Although F.D.A. approved in 2002, cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists have been using Botox Cosmetic to treat facial wrinkles such as crow’s feet and frown lines for more than 10 years.
Botox Cosmetic injections are a great way to reduce your facial wrinkles. With continued use of Botox Cosmetic your wrinkles may actually lessen and may disappear for prolonged periods of time. Most people come in 2-3 times per year for Botox Cosmetic injections.

Injectables

Many wrinkle fillers are on the market today and more are being introduced at a very rapid rate. It may feel overwhelming to tell one filler from another.
Often, it is like the “flavor of the week” from a patient’s perspective. Dr. Tawfik Sefrioui is a recognized authority on fillers and lectures internationally on the principles and uses of wrinkle fillers.
Dr Tawfik is able to decipher the differences in fillers and make an intelligent decision for your own particular concerns.. There are temporary, longer-lasting, and permanent fillers that are made from a wide range of substances. The most widely used temporary fillers are Juvederm and Restylane. Radience (or Radiesse) and Sculptra are longer-lasting in many cases, but not permanent. They tend to last from 6-9 months up to 2 years.
Fat grafting using stem cells is also another option. The use of adipose tissue, which is rich in stem and regenerative cells has undergone a renaissance in the reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Enriched fat injections is a procedure whereby a patient’s fat tissue is enriched with his or her own regenerative cells to create a natural filler.

Needleless Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a procedure which uses very fine needles to inject a cocktail of active ingredients in the middle layer of the derma. The advantage of mesotherapy is that the active ingredients penetrate within the optimal depth in the derma. There is only slight discomfort during the procedure and the risk of small hematoma in some cases.
No needle mesotherapy avoids this problem and the active ingredients are delivered into the skin using ultrasound. The procedure is absolutely pain-free, there is no risk and minimal side effects.
No-needle mesotherapy is an option for any age and can be done at any time of the day and in all seasons. This procedure is specifically good for those who seek to improve their skin appearance, elasticity, softness and tone without feeling the discomfort of the needle.

Microdermabrasion

Facial microdermabrasion treatment uses a stream of non-allergenic crystals to remove your skin’s outermost layers of dead cells. Your therapist will use the handset to direct the stream of crystal over the treatment area and, where necessary, target specific zones. The handset then uses a mild suction to draw away the crystal and skin debris to reveal your new and improved complexion.
It’s chemical free and non-invasive yet achieves amazing results revealing younger, healthier looking skin from the very first treatment. The skin’s appearance is further improved through increased collagen & elastin production as your body produces a new layer of skin.

PRL (Platelet-Rich-Lysate)

PRL, or platelet rich lysate, is a substance derived from your own blood that contains high
levels of platelets, the cells in our blood that assist in blood clotting, contain growth factors,
and assist in cell regeneration.
PRL has been used for many years in orthopaedic medicine and dentistry due to its ability to accelerate healing. More recently, PRL has become popular in aesthetic medicine due to its ability to stimulate collagen development and cell regeneration. PRPL can help with a wide array of cosmetic concerns including improvement in skin texture, scarring, thickness, and
hair loss.

DERMAFRAC

Micro-needling infusion therapy is an advanced aesthetic treatment used to target many skin concerns including fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, brown spots and pigmentation, open pores, congested skin, mild acne scarring, and dry and dehydrated skin.
DermaFrac uses a roller which contains 180 superfine needles to stimulate collagen production and cell renewal, helping to plump, firm and smooth the skin. MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is a method of skin rejuvenation using a motorized device with multiple fine needles to create uniform punctures in the skin surface. The tiny punctures created by the needles extend down 0.5–3 mm into the skin and stimulate the body to produce new collagen and elastin over time. The result is an improvement in skin texture and firmness, reduction in pore size, and softening of acne scars and stretch marks.

ASPEN

Aspen is an ultrasound massage therapy for breast contractures and scar tissue. Dr Tawfik’s clinic is one of few practices offering Aspen- a unique non-invasive ultrasound machine with several applications. Aspen is used primarily for the relief of capsular contracture, a condition in which the breast implant capsule hardens and constricts causing breast firmness. Other applications of Aspen include assistance with scar modification and liposuction irregularities.

HEALITE: Led Therapy

With new progressive technologies by InMode, patients can treat signs of aging without surgery. Dr. Tawfik Sefrioui is featured in his Scarless Cosmetic Surgery Facility with the latest in non-surgical anti-aging laser devices; Fractora and Forma. Fractora is a radio
frequency device that stimulates the production of collagen in the skin. Fractora adds volume back into the skin while tightening it as well. Forma is a non-invasive skin tightening device that uses radio frequency waves as well. By heating up the collagen, Forma can tighten loose skin on the face and body.
